project description

On the 21st August 2020, HGIS signed the acceptance letter of the third consecutive contract from ROC Oil in the Provision of Seabed Debris Survey and Working Class Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) for ROC Oil Sarawak.

The integrated Debris Survey and Removal will be conducted over a 500m², area that covers the rig approach from the platform edge, covering the seafloor where the jack-up drilling rig will soft pin, run anchors, move into the final position, pin and jack up prior to the start of drilling operations. All operations are done on a single vessel with a fast track turnaround period of approximately 7-10 days prior to rig entry.

This solution is extremely cost-effective in comparison with the conventional method which requires mobilization of two separate vessels.
