It was such a great honour for HGIS to be awarded with a long term contract with POSCO International for Provision of Rig Positioning Services on 5^th November 2018.

The SHWE Project includes a firm scope of Phase 2 Development Drilling and Completion Campaign from water depth of 95m to 110m. Optional scope for this project include Exploration drilling campaign from water depth range of 1,000m to 1,500m. This contract gives the opportunity for HGIS to expand its footprint in Myanmar and growing services across the South East Asia region.

OBJECTIVE#1Provision of Positioning Equipment and Navigation Systems onboard the Drilling Rig and Anchor Handling Tugs.

OBJECTIVE#2Provision of Barge Management System (BMS) and Tug Management System (TMS) to establish an integrated navigation system which links up all work vessels on site for drilling each operation.

OBJECTIVE#3Provision of a Senior Surveyor, Surveyor and Electronics Engineer to operate and maintain the positioning equipment and navigation systems on site.
